I have spent my life in the woods. As a child I would forage in the woods with my grandpa, finding morels and sassafras root. Later in my life, I worked as a chef, but still went out to forage edible fungi and plants for the restaurants where I worked. That led me on a journey to Northern Sweden, to work at a Michelin-starred restaurant where everything was grown and foraged on site. I also grew mushrooms commercially for several years. All of these weird and wonderful things I’ve been drawn to all my life have led me to this —passing on this knowledge in a fun and exciting way to you all!
I teach not only about edible and medicinal wild foods, I also incorporate forestry and ecology into the class so that you can get the full picture of how this amazing world we live on works.

See the forest through my eyes…

Come with me on a journey, a journey that is meant to inspire —not only to inspire you to eat more wild foods, but to learn what nature has to offer. I am hoping it sets a fire in your heart to give back and take care of this beautiful land, so we can thrive together for generations to come.

Mush love!
